Do you like my winter outfit from Grandpa Steve? Mommy thinks I’m cute as a button!! Things are going great around our house, I have been sleeping a full straight 6 hours at night!! I still have to be held the rest of the time, what can I say… I get what I want when I want it!! Doc said, “you can’t spoil a baby until they reach 3-6 months old” . I’m having fun working Mommy and Daddy to the bone, just kidding!!!

Gavyn Future MVP

Fresh out of the tub, I love the water!! I'm getting big so fast, I'm going to be fitting in my 3-6 month clothing already. I'm a pretty good baby, we are working on figuring out why I have such painful gas. To everyone that has called, we are sorry if we have not called you back!! Mommy has been trying to sleep when I sleep because I like to stay awake at night. It's not my fault, either I'm gulping down air or something that Mommy is eating is giving me tummy troubles.

I think that every baby boy has one of these carter outfits, they are super cute!!

4 Days 'til Tyler & Danielle get here!!

I am getting so excited, my sister will be here soon. Not to mention, I'm going to be having Gavyn in a few days (hopefully). Who knows maybe it'll happen tonight. I have lost my "plug", talk about naste. I won't go in to detail, I might run some of you off. I was in the Docs on the 1st, things are going great. Gavyn continues to grow and so do I. She said that I was 60% effaced, dialated to 2cm. She also did a quit membrane sweep to get things going, and she said that she would to that again on the 8th if nothing has happened.

It's Settled!!!!!!!!!!

His name is Gavyn Russell Ortman. It came down to us flipping a coin to settle it, we are just to indecisive and we got tired of calling him "him or baby". I won, yeah! We had Arlis's family around last weekend, it was really nice to have them here to help celebrate his 26th birthday. We also got to play with Grace, our little niece. She is such a cutie.

34weeks6days

Looks like a cranky little guy...

We were poking around at my belly trying to get him to come out of hiding. I don't know if you'll be able to read the due date on the ultrasound, but it's a week off. It says, 33w6d, but really we were at 34w6d. So, the name is still up in the air, although I think I'm just going to start calling him Gavin to see if Arlis will give in. If you look at his nose in the picture you will notice it looks a bit like Arlis's.. Poor little guy!! lol Just kidding hon, I love your nose!!

Here I stand huge as hell!!!

Ok, so I'm feeling a bit on the large side!!! Not to mention this picture is pretty bad, but I wanted to get one up so you all could see... I'm 35weeks here.... Let me tell you alittle about what they told me at our doctors app. I had an ultrasound and they found that he is measuring on the larger side. They think that he is about 6.5lbs right now, and with a month to go he could get alot bigger. I'm hope that I don't end up pushing a 10 pound melon out my lemon.

Week 31

Well, I thought that I would add a few more pictures. We are gaining weight at a rapid pace now... Dang holidays, gotta love all the good treats!! We are getting so excited and can't wait to see our little boy! Hopefully my body can keep it together, so I can work until I deliver.. My hips are paying the price, some mornings I have a hard time rolling out of bed. But I know it the long run, it will be worth every little and big pain I have!!! Thank god, I have such a wonderful husband to rub my back and get up and get me anything I need!! When I wake up in the middle of the night, he will even reach his hands over to my back and rub until I fall back to sleep.. He's such an angel!! Love ya Arlis!! Thanks for putting up with me!

We are adding a name to the list...

So, I guess we are going to add Ashton to the list of names. Arlis seems to really like it, if I could pick one without his say... I think it would be Gavin.. Any ways let us know what you think about Ashton.. Love ya all!!!!!

Names

I went to the my doctor yesterday, she said that everything looks great. We talked about starting the inducing process on the 11th of Feb. I'm hoping that he'll be ready to see the world and fly on out! I'm praying for a fast labor and delivery, I think that’s the scariest part of it all. I really enjoy being pregnancy, it’s pretty crazy to think that there is a little guy kicking around in there. He probably getting the hint that I don’t like him poking me in the ribs, I have been pushing him down constantly. We have a few names picked out and some help would be greatly appreciated!! Let me know what you think of the following…. Maybe rate them 1 thru 5..
